Eurovision 2027 will be much more than a few evenings in front of the TV and several hours inside Arena Burgas.
When thousands of fans from across Europe arrive on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, they will have an entire city to explore - from the sea and the Sea Garden to bars, clubs, beaches and resorts around Burgas.
Sequins, Beaches and Selfies: 10 Types of Eurovision Tourists Who Will Take Over Burgas
The contest will take place on May 11, 13 and 15, 2027, but the official programme surrounding it will be much broader. The EBU and BNT are preparing a Eurovision Village, a EuroClub and an additional cultural and entertainment programme, with details about individual events to be announced gradually.
🎤 Eurovision Village - the place for fans
One of the main meeting points will be the Eurovision Village. This is where fans can expect a Eurovision-themed atmosphere, music, meetings and public events.
The exact programme in Burgas has not yet been announced, but the concept is clear - Eurovision will move beyond the arena and turn the city itself into part of the experience.
Some events outside Arena Burgas may also be accessible without a ticket for the competition nights, with specific conditions to be announced at a later stage.
🌙 EuroClub - when the stage leaves the TV screen
For the most passionate fans, there is another important name - EuroClub.
Traditionally, this is the nightlife side of the contest - a place for music, dancing, DJ sets and meeting other fans after the show. The exact format and location of EuroClub in Burgas are yet to be announced.
In the meantime, however, the city already has enough nightlife options to keep Eurovision fans entertained.

🍸 Burgas after sunset
The centre of Burgas is a natural area for evening walks, restaurants, cafés and bars. The city offers numerous options for food and drinks, including bars, beach bars, pubs and nightclubs.
Fans can start the evening with a walk through the central streets, head towards the Sea Garden and then continue to a venue for cocktails, music or a party.
The Sea Garden is particularly attractive for combining the sea, evening lights and a relaxing walk. Stretching along the coastline, it connects the city centre with the beach and the Sea Station. The pier also offers beautiful views of the sea and the city, especially at night.
🌊 The beach is part of the experience too
Even in May, fans will not be coming to Burgas only for the stage.
The city offers Central and North Beach, as well as quieter options such as the beaches in Sarafovo and Kraimorie.
The day can start with coffee by the sea, continue with a walk along the beach and end with a concert, fan event or night out.
That is one of the unique features of Eurovision in Burgas - the contest is coming to a city where the sea is literally part of the landscape.

🚤 St. Anastasia Island - for fans looking for an adventure
Those who want to escape the city buzz for a few hours can take a boat trip to St. Anastasia Island.
The journey itself is part of the experience, while the island offers a completely different atmosphere - away from the stages, crowds and nightclubs.
Another option is Lake Atanasovsko, known for its salt pools, natural surroundings and the distinctive pink colour that appears in certain areas.
🦩 Burgas - and the entire Southern Black Sea coast
Fans staying for several days will have no reason to limit themselves to Burgas.
To the north lies Sunny Beach - a resort long associated with summer entertainment. The area offers numerous daytime and nightclubs, bars, discos, casinos and restaurants.
Beyond nightlife, visitors can enjoy water sports, water skiing, surfing, pedal boats, jet skis, yacht trips, beach volleyball, bowling and horse riding.
For fans who decide to extend their stay, Eurovision can easily turn into a full Black Sea holiday.
🏖️ Sozopol - another side of the party
South of Burgas lies Sozopol - different in atmosphere, but also rich in entertainment options.
The Old Town offers narrow cobbled streets, sea views, restaurants and evening walks, while the surrounding area features beaches, campsites, a marina and opportunities for water-based activities.
Visitors can enjoy water sports, diving, fishing, boat trips, beach time and camping.
For those looking for something more adventurous, sea kayaking around the area of St. Ivan and St. Peter islands is another option, weather permitting.
And in the evening, Sozopol can offer the perfect contrast to the big Eurovision buzz - a romantic walk through the Old Town, dinner overlooking the sea and a long evening by the coast.
🎢 What if fans want everything at once?
Then the formula is simple:
Morning - the sea
Afternoon - sightseeing and exploring
Evening - Eurovision Village or a concert
After the show - EuroClub or nightlife in Burgas
The next day - Sunny Beach or Sozopol
And this is exactly what could make Eurovision 2027 more than just a music competition.
Burgas is already known for festivals, concerts and cultural events, with the city's official calendar featuring music, theatre, visual arts and festival programmes.
