Burgas is getting ready to welcome Eurovision 2027, and alongside the huge musical spectacle, thousands of fans from across Europe will be heading to the Bulgarian seaside.

But each of them will have their own mission - some will come for the music, others for the parties, while a few will simply discover that Burgas is a fantastic place to spend a few days by the sea.
So what kind of tourists can we expect? Here are 10 types we will probably spot around the city.
1. The Eurovision fanatic
They don't just listen to the songs - they know everything. Who is competing, when rehearsals are taking place, which country is the favourite and what is happening backstage.
They will probably arrive in Burgas days before the contest and leave last.
2. The beach strategist
Officially, they have come for Eurovision. Unofficially, they have come for the sea.
Their schedule is simple: a little music, a little sightseeing and as much beach time as possible. If they manage to combine the grand final with a beautiful sunset, mission accomplished.
3. The TikTok hunter
For them, the most important question isn't “Where is the stage?” but “Where is the best spot for a video?”
They will film everything - from the city's decorations to the atmosphere outside the arena. And if a moment doesn't make it onto social media, it practically never happened.
4. The Eurovision fashion star
This tourist doesn't simply arrive with luggage. They arrive with a concept.
Sequins, glittering outfits, extravagant accessories and a look that could have come straight from the Eurovision stage. For them, even a walk through the Sea Garden is a red-carpet moment.
5. The food delegate
The songs are important, but food is even more important.
This person will have a list of restaurants ready before they even arrive. They will hunt down local flavours, photograph every dish and may end up knowing more about Burgas cuisine than about half the contestants.

They have arrived in Burgas for the biggest music event in town, but lose their way on the very first day.
