The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 464,715, after 27,124 tests identified 2,005 new infections on Tuesday. The test positivity rate now stands at 7.43 per cent.
Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 405 positive tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 223 cases and Varna Region with 123.
The active cases are 35,353. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 4,307, including 329 in intensive care.
The infected medical staff have reached 13,973.
Another 1,038 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 410,092.
A hundred and twenty-one fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 19,270.
With 11,370 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,367,564 vaccine doses have been administered so far and 1,209,100 people are fully vaccinated.
