The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 735,998, after 22,602 tests identified 1,278 new infections, 80.52 per cent of which were of unvaccinated persons.
The active cases are 98,459. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 4,090, including 464 in intensive care. Of the 266 hospital admissions, 87,22 per cent were not vaccinated.
Another 1,109 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 606,916.
A total of 49 fatalities were reported (95,92 per cent unvaccinated), and the death toll now adds up to 30,623.
With 3,334 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 3,658,694 vaccine doses have been administered so far and 1,899,249 people are fully vaccinated.
