The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 422,873, after 16,122 tests identified 76 new infections on Friday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 0.47 per cent.
Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 16 positive tests. The active cases are 7,544. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 736, including 91 in intensive care.
Another 84 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 397,160. Six fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 18,169.
With 10,682 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,907,247 vaccine doses have been administered so far and 872,178 people are fully vaccinated.
