The money will be used for buying respirators, face masks and PCR tests
The European Commission redirects more than 20 million euros of cohesion policy funds to Bulgaria's health-care system and its response to COVID-19.

The money will be used for buying 377 respirators, over 2 million face masks and 177,000 PCR tests.

Earlier 71 million euros have been redirected to Bulgaria from the Regions in Growth Operational programme. The financial resources will be invested in the purchase of 400 new ambulances and improving emergency care in over 230 places in the country.
