The BNB has decided that the maximum term of a mortgage loan contract is 30 years. The decision comes into force on the 1st of October 2024.
The loan-to-value ratio (LTV-O) should be no higher than 85%.
The ratio between the amount of current debt service payments and the borrower's monthly income at origination (DSTI-O) should be no greater than 50%. The maximum term of the credit agreement should not exceed 30 years.
